(Others suggested this was <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/edzitron.com\/post\/3mj2zh4pvp22n\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">hype<\/a> or simply <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/04\/09\/is-anthropic-limiting-the-release-of-mythos-to-protect-the-internet-or-anthropic\/\">a smart enterprise sales strategy<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report is particularly surprising since Anthropic is <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/03\/09\/anthropic-sues-defense-department-over-supply-chain-risk-designation\/\">currently battling the Trump administration in court<\/a> over the Department of Defense&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2026\/03\/05\/its-official-the-pentagon-has-labeled-anthropic-a-supply-chain-risk\/\">designation of Anthropic as a supply-chain risk<\/a>; that designation came after negotiations fell apart over the company&#8217;s efforts to limit how its AI models can be used by the government.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/ec7bb366-9643-47ce-9909-fc5ad4864ae5?syn-25a6b1a6=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">the Financial Times reports<\/a> that U.K. financial
